Current works and projects by students that are not yet completed on the date of submission may be submitted. Preference will be given to artistic and theoretical works that go beyond university requirements, as well as those works that exceed the scope of student projects, diploma theses, or particularly extensive semester projects. Preference will also be given to projects that address issues critical of discrimination. The submitted project has to be limited to the field of fine arts, applied arts, performing arts or the theoretical examination thereof, or to forms that move interdisciplinarily between these genres. Project funding consists of a grant of €8,800, which will be divided according to the volume and quality of the submissions, with a maximum grant of €800 per project.

Project funding can only be applied for once per person and year: either for an individual project or a group project. Full and associate students of the University of Art Linz who are studying at the University of Art Linz in the academic year 2022/2023 are eligible.

The ÖH of the University of Art Linz attaches great importance to an anti-discriminatory approach in the processing of funding. Accordingly, projects with a discrimination-critical focus will be given preference.
