About the founder
After the death of her mother, the writer Christa Zihlmann-Prameshuber grew up with her grandparents under the care of her three great-aunts. All three, inspiring women in their diversity, gave her a rather unconventional upbringing and shaped her in their own special way. After a varied professional life that took her through various countries in Europe, Christa Zihlmann-Prameshuber decided to become a writer thanks to the love of literature awakened early on by her family. She dedicates this sponsorship award, which is aimed at young female artists and is intended to support them, to the formative female figures in her life, her (Linz) great-aunts.
