Funding of the University in the Field of Art.Research are:

• Start-up funding for research proposals
• Start-up funding for PhD candidates and post-docs
• Publication grant print 
• Publication grant for hybrid and digital publication formats 
• Publication grant for journal contributions 

Applications can be submitted at any time. Applications must be received no later than two weeks before the quarterly funding allocation meeting in order to be considered.

Conference funding applications can be submitted through a separate call.

The dates for the 2026 funding allocation meetings are:

• 25 February 2026
• 3 June 2026
• 30 September 2026
• 25 November 2026
